What’s up people today I want to show you how to target high paying jobs on Upwork. Welcome back to another blog my name is Saif. I produce weekly content based around Youtube video, Upwork, Fiverr and how to make money making blogs subscribe now if that sounds interesting to you.
Today I’m going to show you a quick strategy of high paying jobs on upwork that you know if you have plenty work maybe you got a couple consistent clients already and you know your income isn’t too kind of mandatory as and you don’t have to you know go out there and drum up new business and you’ve got kind of a consistent you know income going on on its own and you don’t kind of constantly be need to look for any projects now this is gonna be a little strategy to target the higher paying projects when you don’t need them because that’s kind of the best position to be in in terms of you know you might have heard when kind of making a deal the person who can walk away is usually the person who’s gonna get the best of that deal because they don’t need it. And that’s the reality in this situation if you need the job you’re not in a position to really look for the highest paying ones and you kind of need to take basically anything that comes to you because you need it this is a strategy of people that don’t need it and you know they just want to target the higher paying ones when they’ve got something consistent going on or by all means don’t you don’t have any urgency to make money and they just want to make. You know some significant money and maybe not even target the lower paying stuff,
First so without further ado I’m gonna show you how to do it so UpworkI’ve come to the home page just to walk you through everything alright this is what its gonna look like boom right here I’m gonna go up here to search for jobs and I’m gonna type in video editing boom it doesn’t have to be capitals for me. I didn’t even realize it was on capitals it’s gonna load up all the newest video editing jobs right now the strategy here to target than our paying jobs is very very straightforward it’s literally only look for the ones that say the price and the price is significant so if we go down here we see right away $1,200. We want a video for about a minute or two minutes in length it needs to include animations images of our website off a brief scan of that description I’m going to press ctrl and click it so that it open up in a new tab up here and we could save that for later and in fact I’ll just walk through the process of actually applying to one straight off the bat so if I go submit a proposal and I read through here cool all of this seems straightforward absolutely fine.
Submitting A Proposal :
I’m gonna click Submit proposal and I’m actually gonna be directed to submit proposal area. Which is a you know the By milestone of my project I’m gonna do by project I always like doing by project just so we all know that there’s a thing that you know the exact amount that space would be generated here how long will this project take less than a month and I’m actually gonna just press ctrl-v and copy/paste my cover letter which is actually counterintuitive to what a lot of people are doing which is you know actually writing a fat cover letter totally makes sense but that’s more if you want to be as personal as possible to the specific job now this right here is a video intro strategy so this is what I would advise if you have a video intro now what a video intro is is this bad boy right here so I’m just gonna paste it here Oh probably got a little bit of echo there basically a video of you just pitching yourself for two minutes I mean two minutes is even long in my book maybe I could have made that a minute or a minute and a half but two minutes was kind of like a you know I could fit everything in there without roughing it so that’s basically what I’m doing is passing it off to this video intro so I’m gonna copy paste the same message to everybody and I’m only gonna target the high paying job so my message is simple it says.
Proposal Cover Letter :
Hey ! I’d love to get involved with this I’m Saif video editor videographer and youtuber here’s my show real hope to hear back I think I’d be a great fit now why I think this is so effective is because everybody else write a massive cover letter literally a thousand words something like that this is you know four thousand seven hundred and ninety four characters left there’s people out there using the full 5,000 characters I’m sure of it now you just get disregarded in my book I have both applied for work and hired people from Upworkand I know what I look for I look for the short sweet and you know the ones that just show to me that they actually know what they’re talking about and this right here after you’ve watched my video intro you know it’s impossible that I don’t know what I’m talking about because I would have to be an amazing scam artist or whatever to basically fake all this footage you know in the video intro so make a video intro but enough talking submit the first proposal great I’m gonna press submit yes I understand a whole bunch of random stuff get it gone that’s our first one gone so you’ve just seen what happens now we’re gonna go a little faster okay so I’m actually gonna go to anything that’s over a hundred bucks may as well and I’m actually gonna send my full proposals right here why not so that’s 12 grand right there what’s uh let’s hope we get that and what I’m actually gonna do is literally just go page through page and actually just press ctrl + click or if you’re on Mac command and click on anything that’s over 100 bucks and just open it up into another window where we will actually go through and apply for altar and this is what you can do just single out the actual well-paid jobs the you know the lower paid jobs the 50 bucks the the 25 bucks whatever the case may be and even 100 bucks for a well paid job is a little bit on the low side right so what we want to do is target the 100 and above 100 being the the very base minimum of actually us applying to these and don’t be too worried about maybe you know the fact that obviously we’re not going to get every single one of these and the goal is just to get a couple of them.
The fact of the matter is this right here :
Alright and the fact of the matter is this right here is a bit of a throwaway method where if you are being super restrictive with all your connects and stuff like that I can understand why it might be a little bit bait to go out there and just goona waste them all to me this is not a waste and also to me I’m a little bit getter with it I do you know have had multiple off work accounts in the past so rising through 30 you know connects and then moving on to a to another account isn’t the craziest thing to me shout out anybody looking this who works it UpworkI’m sorry please no sure me yeah that’s 100 grand right there it’s always funny when you see the massive paid ones you know what I mean like you know imagine getting paid a hundred grand over Upwork it would just be hilarious you know what I mean yeah because the online stuff honestly for me I’ve been doing internet-based stuff for so long that it is very effortless for me you know it’s still something you know it’s not like it’s the craziest thing in the world but you know doing remote video editing it’s pretty goddamn easy to me and in my book and it’s a pretty good gig to be honest but it is hilarious when you see the hundred grand and stuff like that but what i’m doing here is literally just uploading uh just opening a shitload of jobs right so we’re opening them up and you could see we’re only at the nine hour mark right now in the video editing page and I’m uploading opening rather anything up here that is over a hundred bucks okay now the ones I spot like that that’s some CSS so that’s encoding that just like gone in here accidentally. There’s a Jesus website Christian product but there’s not necessary you have to be a Christian freelancer I’m a Jewish freelancer I hope they accept me you know unlimited amount of videos now letting a okay this is some coding a website or something like that listen man if it was coding a website for Moses I’d be there but Jesus I don’t know about it man come on now let’s have a look what’s that look edit how video is created in the ScreenFlow a sure that’s 250 French to English translate video K that’s not looking very very up my alley so obviously if you could spot by the title you know that it’s not something you’re gonna be uh available for don’t apply.
Freelancing Is Very Easy :
But for me that my range is pretty significant when it comes to videos so pretty easily able to apply to everything and then when I actually hit me back and say oh cool yeah we’d love to hire you then I just reread the description and I’m like okay boom I remember this and uh you know sure I can definitely do it let’s do it so let’s have a look we’ve got 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 we’ve got 21 let’s get another 9 so that’s one oh I think we uploaded that twice yeah 9 experts see 4d graphic artist to make brand tequila promo cool so I’m not a cinema 4d guy anymore I used to shred cinema 4d when I was a young little 12 year old a 13 year old and to be honest I was a beast I can’t out lie you know I in the most humble way possible my animations were amazing in realist the area T they were pretty trashed but for 13 years old they were very cool and to be honest maybe I’ll go through all those with you guys one day man I’m gonna make a videos for a long time that’s also you know the untold story of why freelancing is very easy for a character like me you know I’ve been making videos amateur Li and then on to professional since I was 10 years old 11 years old you know so it’s a it’s definitely embedded in my mind I’ve worked on a lot of different projects and I think you know when you’ve worked on a bunch of projects you do get pretty confident and just applying to loads of jobs and then just you know thinking you can probably you know 99% do all the jobs you know what I mean but I understand that might be not a similar boat that everybody’s in especially my beginner freelancers but I think we’ve got about 30 jobs open and I’m literally just gonna open them up and start applying now there’s no doubt some of these which might require a whole bunch of you know nonsense extra information and stuff so we might leave them but I’m basically just gonna keep applying now less than one week sounds about right for the majority use projects unless they’re kind of like a bigger bigger projects but for some of them this seemed like a little bit longer maybe you put the the how long this project will take in less than a month just you know maybe a client might not might want you to put a little bit longer sometimes as well a lot more opportunities the average up work.

Whatever and we just go through right now guys and we just apply apply apply apply apply apply and maybe I come back and I do another episode after we actually get some responses maybe either later today or you know tomorrow something like that and I you know I showcase whether we got anybody fry this method get a head start on this project start questionnaire complete later no thank you has additional requirements interesting so cool no problem don’t be put off by any of this stuff guys honestly please send a few examples of your best work Facebook ad creation is a bonus and for this one I’m literally just going to direct them to the show real so show real slash past work linked above and how many hours a week could you work as many as offered so honestly we’re just trying to sound as a you know as as easy as possible you know and that’s the reality situation very easygoing guy I can more or less tailor myself around the client and you know all we want to do is just get on the actual call with them so I’m just gonna apply to all these and our objective here is literally just to talk to some of these people okay so I don’t mind that I won’t get you know 80% of these guys right here because there might be somebody who’s you know he’s going a little bit more in-depth or whatever but at the end of the day I’m happy to give up the majority and just get a few just for making things a little bit easier and kind of simple and this right here is a simple strategy which you’ll see I’ll leave the whole strategy on camera and not as we’ll jump cut the whole episode and you’ll just see the actual you know the basic process of doing this now this right here why did you apply to this particular job which of the cry jobs goes you feel your strongest I’m just gonna skip it for stuff this too much that’s honestly too much I just give it you know I’m freelancer for for two years now some of you guys no doubt at judging me Saif I thought she was a hard worker why you not responding to those extra questions why are you skipping them it’s not worth it to me I’d rather skip that one and get the next one then uh then you know go go super hard on that one tried blow up you know typo type a million words to them and you know basically just too much output of energy for not enough, not enough return essentially but blessings you we all have different we all have different ways of doing stuff different strokes for different folks
How I would go about getting some high paying jobs really quickly :
I’m showing you guys literally the raw uncut version of how I would go about getting some high paying jobs really quickly on Upwork you have a suggestion to make this project runs smoothly that’s just a computer-generated answer again I’m gonna skip those when they got too many things I skip them straight up I’m a skipper unless I’ve actually found the job specifically not via this method because there’s a couple different versions of me on Upwork okay guys this right here is the kind of trying to drum up business quickly version of me on Upwork just like alright let’s pick a whole bunch of jobs apply to them all with a basic you know application and you know hope we get some of them which to be honest every single time we get some of them so why do you think you’re a good fit for this particular project I have been freelancing five plus years years and I am super easy to work with boom so just just a little little line about yourself little self-serving line I’m pretty easy to work with I mean I would describe me as an extremely easy person to work with because I just understand a lot so the freelancer might tell I mean the client might tell one freelance or something and they don’t fully understand it they tell me and I’ve had enough experience but uh you know I can apply it what questions you have about this project again I’m just gonna skip that one when in doubt skip your way out now don’t get me wrong guys I have gone very very hard in the past fully fill one out every single detail of all of these and that’s
Skip Jobs That You Don’t Like :
How I’ve gotten some of my kind of big big jobs no doubt but this is a spray-and-pray kind of method if you will interactive websites before not particularly but I would love to get so don’t lie you know what I mean you know I haven’t worked on a innovative interactive website before so I mean to be honest I probably have but I mean it seems a little bit too out there so I’m gonna say not particularly but I’d love to get involved at the end of the day you know we’re not looking to portray ourselves as something we’re not if you do portray yourself as something you’re not there will be an inevitable unveiling moment when you know you have to get to this crossroad where you realize either a you cannot do what you portrayed you could in the first place or any number of other things that might come up that being the main one what is your experience in Fitness video editing I have shot some sports related content which I have shots the sports related content for footballers et Cie and have edited interviews with boxers Lietz et Cie so there you go I have had some you know sports video editing experience and again I’m just gonna list off the stuff that I you know I did you know I made made some football stuff maybe two months ago or something like that my friend had to do some sort of a profile video about for a sports marketing degree at university helped them out with that whole situation like I said there done some boxer interviews and stuff please provide a sample of your work related to this project cool so the project says video editor sauce graphic designer for three 15-second marketing videos with sports highlights slash dynamic graphics um what I’m gonna say to see go real above and I’m not you’re gonna press submit by the bing bada boom apply to the next one apply to the next one.
Calls make more of light relationship :
Indeed less than a week hire me screw it what questions you have about the project none off the top but a call to discuss the project further would certainly be a good idea I always like to get in a call I’d always like to get in a call for real because the call is just such a more personalized experience right there and you know you just joke around with them for a little bit you kind of make it more of a more of a light relationship now you know this some some boring clients out they don’t get me wrong but I mean you can you can create a little rapport with the majority of them or else you know if you can’t create some rapport with them you might not be a very rapport worthy kind of person let’s have a look let’s have a look let’s have a look submit a proposal now I’m actually gonna press submit on all these a script one by one don’t get impatient Saif amen you have to tell yourself that sometimes oh my god later haha see ya oh my god have you had over five certainly certainly I’ve definitely had over five years experience I was a whole nother youtuber five years ago Oh awesome eh men and we’re closing in on our final four right now so this one right here number one I’m actually gonna open them all up number two number three and numero four.
At the End Review & Closing the proposal :
There we go let’s do it so this right here is closing in on the end I’m gonna review the proposals and maybe we have a you know to speak to clients or how to speak with high paying clients or something like that on the next episode but this right here I’m sure you’ve uh you know soaked in all the information right here the spray and pray method if you will that’s kind of like a little a rough name for it I guess you could say cuz I mean it is pretty on point what we’re doing here spraying and praying you know educated spray be sure to include at least three video examples no longer than 5 min my show real slash video intro summarizes well just gonna say my show real slash video intro summarizes well I’m really trying to throw these people over there I feel as though once they watch it you know they then will get it and and and you know if I’m applicable they’ll hire me off that video intro I barely believe it so let’s have a look let’s go back here and actually we can have a look we have submitted 25 proposals so we got 10 available connects. I just leave them I’ll end it up right here if we go to my jobs proposals right here we can actually scroll down and have a look that we have submitted plenty proposals three pages of proposals and that right there is you know done and dusted so that right there is how you do it guys how to target high paying jobs high paying clients on Upwork that is it all you got to do is type in video editing and just apply to all the ones they’re high pain and literally throw it away apply to all of them every single one of them and you know then keep it moving after that and you know the spray-and-pray tactic I think that’s a fair enough name to call it and I think that’s a you know one that I think the people who agree with this method are gonna like and also you know the people who maybe don’t agree with this method which I can definitely see that being a couple of them but you know I’ve been freelancer for two years this right here is hands-down an effective method especially when the main part of a method like this which is you know spamming Morton or just sending the same message to everybody cold cold messaging them is the fact that I’m throwing it off to the video intro the video intro is a massive key part of this and that’s gonna do most of the selling for me because I’ve encaptured that perfect pitch right there that is a very persuasive that I’m a good video creator but thank you guys for reading the blog of a Saif for more blogs content subscribe you know i upload weekly blogs based around Youtube video, Upwork, Fiverr, how to make money making videos and that’s it thank you guys for reading and also tell me if Upworks been going good for you if it has it and you know whether you’re gonna try this method or not yeah take it easy guys.
