So let’s dive right into it here’s the Upwork proposal writing simple and here are the guidelines so the first guideline before I give you the actual example is that you need to write in a way with where you get people on a call okay most people they write proposals as if it’s some kind of way to get people to buy from you and it simply isn’t you’re not gonna get people to buy from you necessarily for a proposal Writing and if you do they’re not gonna pay you a lot of money it’s very hard to convince people via text to buy from you so what you do is you structure your proposal writing just like you structure your profile in a way where you get them on calls Upwork is a tool to get people on calls once you realize this everything becomes a lot easier because you can handle on a live call you can handle whatever issues people have and you can resolve it and then get them to hire you if necessary if you actually want to work with them in the first place that way you can avoid clients that are a pain in the head and you can take away the guesswork and replace it with talking to a human being and deciding if you’re a good fit doesn’t that sound better well it is as long as you’re not scared of calls and if you are just don’t be scared of calls anymore.
Some Rules Of Proposals Writing :

Rule number one write the proposal not as a way to sell yourself in your service but as a way to get people on calls. You write in a way where you get them on calls so forget these long long form job applications that people write but all the skills and all the stuff that they’ve done or all this nonsense let me give you a much simpler framework in fact let’s just dive right that’s enough rules for now I’m sure you’re tired of readings to rules let’s just dive right into the sample so I’m gonna come up with us on the fly because I’ve been an Upwork since 2011 we can just figure one out right here during this first stake here of the of the recording so let’s just say we’re selling Google Ads that’s gonna be the example and we’re selling Google Ads to someone who is looking to do Google Ads for an online store that sells dog colors why cuz I used to sell dog colors and I know a thing or two about dog colors I know it’s weird so here’s the thing so you start with what’s they want so you write high name if you know the name of a person like hey Johnny here’s how to sell dog collars on your online store or using Google Ads okay you’re probably getting all these messages from people and they’re writing you about older accomplishments and instead let’s just talk about your store that sells dog collars and how to make this work on Google Ads so you can grow your business and not learn everything about Google ads and figure out everything yourself so you can give a project to someone else perhaps me perhaps someone else and you know that’ll be taken care of, For you so I’ve taken a look at your store here’s immediately some feedback first of all your store and what’s likely to be your landing page currently not designed in a way where it’s compliant with Google ad policy right that’s the first thing so what I’d like to do for you is I’d like to hope on a call and give you an exact strategy on how to get this handled for your business so you never have to worry about having a non-compliant landing page or non-compliant page for Google Ads policy right so he basically you tell him immediately as soon as possibly prove instead of saying you’re an expert you prove to him that in fact you know already a solution and that’s gonna be worth while talking to you about and then you say right so next up.
